Waimalu House Painters You Can Trust

Waimalu sits right in the heart of Oahu, tucked along the East Loch of Pearl Harbor between Pearl City and Aiea. Most of its single-family homes are ranch-style builds from the 1970s, which means the housing stock here is now around fifty years old. A lot of these homes are on their original wood siding and trim, and after decades of central-Oahu sun, trade winds, and the humidity that rolls down off the Koolau foothills, they need more than a quick coat of paint. They need proper prep and coatings that actually protect the wood.

Our founder, Bryan Canencia, has been painting Oahu homes since the 1980s. He started in the Painters Union, spent about fifteen years learning the trade, and founded Canencia Painting with his ohana in 2016. Bryan personally walks every Waimalu property before we quote it, because an older wood-sided home near the mountains has very different needs than a condo or townhome down near Pearlridge - and the only way to price it right is to see it.
